Meet Jo
From my past experiences Nurse – Holistic therapist – Gardener I can bring all the knowledge and wisdom into our workshops, knowing the importance of challenging yourself, having fun and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful in a friendly cosy space is good for our soul and well being.
My love of willow came when I joined a workshop many years ago, my skills have developed over the years, enjoying basketry and sculpture. The flexibility and strength of this material never ceases to amaze me. I now grow different varieties in my garden.
Now I like to share my skills in our workshops making useful objects such as obelisk plant support and baskets to the decorative dragonflies .
My good friend Hilary Seal also works at the Creative Garden Room bringing a variety of workshops using wire buttons beads to create beautiful decorative objects for the home and garden.
Using her skills and experience as a florist she has a great eye for design.
